When baby knows best…

11 05 2008

This morning Annie seemed to know that something was up. She slept until 7am and cooed delightfully in her cot until 7.30. She lay on my chest with her gummy grin, just staring at my sleepy face. She fed well and easily and played with joy. She even saved her nappy explosion for when I was in the shower, leaving P.G. to take care of it without any backup. Maybe it’s the knowledge of being a very appreciated mum at the forefront of my thoughts, but today it seemed that her naïve actions were riddled with subtext.

She may just be a genius…or maybe it was the quiet little lecture I gave her as a bedtime story last night in preparation for today. Either way, the day was a beauty. Can’t wait for next year.

Ha thats a great story! Your writing is just so perfected. I still struggle organizing a sentence whilst speaking! Maybe thats my alcoholism showing its side effects…
I don’t have any interesting websites, just our genghis one but thats old news. I got a myspace just for me but can’t figure out how to upload music on it.
By the way you like the songs on the cd? I know its a cheap recording but the ideas are there, I just want to write more funky uplifting stuff, but I keep writing these cheezy love songs.. Anyway one day the penny will drop, in the time being I just gotta keep moving forward, book gigs for just me and keep the faith!
Can’t wait to see you next week! Take care dude…
